St Anthonys Primary School in Mungpoo

My latest sikkim adventure

This is a big thanks to dawa and hidden paradise for saving my latest trek to sikkim, i was due to visit north sikkim taking in the areas of lachung, lachen and yumthang, but due to landslides and floods which killed may people we had to cancel on the day that we was due to head there, Dawa and U.T owners of hidden paradise managed to turn things around overnight and organised a trek in southern sikkim taking in hilley, bersay and hee bermick, taking in part of the famous singallia range, this was an amazing experience made even better by the fantastic service i was provided with from the company, this was also i my first experience of homestay and my thanks goes out to forest ranger and his wife at hilley who was warm and friendly and gave a great service.

New dates for the goechala trek

namaste to everyone, we are still taking bookings for the most famous trek in sikkim, the trek to see the goechala which lies deep with the sikkimese himalayas and over looked by the mighty Mt Khangchendzonga.

The dates we have are: 2-10 oct,  11-19 oct, 20-29 oct,  2-10 nov, 11-20 nov, 21-30 nov and also you can still join us on the north sikkim trek for 12 days from the last week sept

Just remember the more on the group the more money you save, so come and join us and visit the hidden paradise which is the Sikkim Himalaya

Thanks dawa from the UK

Dawa and the hidden paradise team took very good care of me on the trek from Yuksam to Goecha La.  Dawa provided a very professional yet friendly guiding service allowing me to go at my own pace and ensuring that we got to camp in good time each day.  The cook provided excellent 3 course meals using fresh local ingredients where available; good drinking water was always available; and the camping equipment in good repair. Dawa and his crew showed a high appreciation for their beautiful country. I would highly recommend this trekking service.
